Welcome to the Raptorcraft wiki where you can find any information you may need to assist you with your experience on Raptorcraft! Raptorcraft is a modded feeling vanilla Minecraft server complete with custom bosses, items, crafting recipes, fishing, map, and much more.
Our progression system is designed to only add onto vanilla’s progression, not interfere with it or provide an alternative path, the only modification to vanilla progression is the rarity of diamonds, this is meant to make the server feel more difficult and the environment feel more dangerous as players will have to work harder to find diamonds and upgrade their gear to the maxed vanilla variants. Late game progression is also tied to boss drops!
Unlike other servers that utilize custom armor and weapons, Raptorcraft’s items do not use cooldowns! Instead, we use inherent abilities. This means that you will not have to click to activate any abilities and instead will have to play into their advantages and avoid their disadvantages, some armor sets are stronger than others, some abilities are utility and not pvp/pve oriented, when progressing, make sure you research your armor’s abilities and play to it’s advantages.
Our bosses are meant to be EXTREMELY difficult, they are not designed with the intent of a player soloing most of the mid to late game bosses, We highly recommend you bring at least 3 players, the strongest gear you can acquire at that bosses point of progression, and plenty of potions, golden apples, and other items you may need in a boss fight!
We also have custom machines that can assist you with tasks or provide unique functionality to your base! We also have a fishing system that allows you to fish up every custom boss drop, boss token, ingot, and totem/talisman as an alternative to fighting bosses, this however has very low drop rates and is unlikely to drop most of the late game items

Raptorcraft's map is designed to have every vanilla block accessible however, they may be in unique locations. There are no naturally generated structures so items like trims that can only be found in those structures have been added to the bosses loot tables, Items like the mace may be acquired by fishing however, do to the strength of the mace it has been added to the rarest level of drops from the fishing lootpool.
The layout of Raptorcraft's custom map is a logical heatmap, this means that the north/west side of the map has colder biomes and the south/east side has hotter biomes. There are multiple hidden islands around the map with unique generation and blocks that you may explore and find. Diamonds only naturally occur in ONE location on the entire map, and the are still rare. Diamond may be acquired from both bosses, and by smelting coal, however the process of smelting coal is extremely lengthy.
